Born in Samara in 1901, Died in Moscow in 1973
Plekhanov was studied first in Samara pedagogical College, later in Moscow: from 1923 to 1925 in Studio A. N. Kardovsky and 1925-1931, in Studio C. N. Yakovlev. At the same time, since 1925 started restoration under the guidance of I. E. Grabar. They have made the restoration of the frescoes of the XI th century, paintings of cathedrals and towers of the Moscow Kremlin, as well as a complicated operation for wall painting M. A. Vrubel on the canvas. Plekhanov painted landscapes, portraits, genre paintings, which are distinguished by the refinement of brushwork.
