   During the war the art of law was "the fighting arts, as artists and sculptors, along with the men shared all the hardships of war, and reflected in his works, real events, witnesses and participants in which they were.
   Creative work of artists over the years of the Great Patriotic War can be divided into three main sections. The first is the art of advocacy. The second part of the work was creative trips to the front. During the war there was such a front, which would not have visited the artists, many of them were direct participants in hostilities, they were in the Soviet Army from Stalingrad to Berlin. The result of this dedicated work of artists were a great many fine art and documentary drawings and sketches. Unfortunately, many of them home and never returned. In the territories, and regions of the country demonstrated over 300 general and personal exhibitions.
  In the darkest years of the war in the country continued to operate museums, exhibitions, which accounted for a significant number of spectators. That understanding of the artists that in these harsh years of their art is very necessary for people, gave them the strength and helped to create remarkable works, which even today do not leave people indifferent.
