Whose sketch for "aristocrat"
This is a sketch (cardboard, krandash, watercolor. 16 X 30.) Costume for the play by N. Pogodin "Aristocrats", written in 1934 and in the same year, set by N. Okhlopkova in realistic theater.
The play shows the reformation rights Belomorkanalskih camps. The play was very popular in its time. Even Solovetskya camps in 1936, it has put an outstanding Ukrainian actor and film director Oles Kurbas (1887 - 1937). Judging by the date, it is a sketch for what is staging 1935 We know that May 25, 1935 premiere in the Theater Vakhtangov. I would like to know who the author of the thumbnail. |
