Nabatov Vyacheslav Vasilyevich (5 October 1939, Karasuk, Novosibirsk, USSR - November 5, 1995, St. Petersburg, Russia) - Russian and Soviet painter, member of St. Petersburg Union of artists (before 1992 - the Leningrad branch of Union of artists of the RSFSR)[1].

Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Nabatov was born on 5 October 1939 in the city of Karasuk, Novosibirsk region in a large family. In 1967 he graduated from Saratov art College. In the same year he entered the painting Department of the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named I. E. Repin, from which he graduated in 1973 with a workshop Century. oreshnikova qualification artist painting and teacher. Thesis - painting "Mother"[2].

From 1973 to 1976 Vyacheslav Nabatov was engaged in the Creative workshop of the Academy of arts of the USSR. Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1975. Participant of exhibitions since 1973. He painted landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre paintings. The author of the paintings "Portrait of Olga Nizovtseva", "Portrait of the artist-the graphics Escaravage"[3] (both 1975), Spring. In the flood"[4], "Portrait of the organizer of collective art Museum And. of Bhanuka"[5] (both 1976), "Spring yard"[4] (1977), "In the village"[6] (1978), "From the Soviet information Bureau"[7] (1980), "Spring day. In 1989-1992 years Nabatova have been successfully presented at exhibitions and auctions of Russian art L' Ecole de Leningrad in France[9].

Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Nabatov died November 5, 1995 in St. Petersburg at the fifty-seventh year of life. His works are in museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, Finland, USA, Japan, Australia and other countries[10].
