Christie's to Auction "Autumn Landscape" Kandinsky estimate: $ 25 million

13.09.2013 , Moscow 02:10:43 Christie's auctioned the memory of outstanding art dealer and collector John Kryuzhe , which will be held in New York on 4 and 5 November 2013. , Dated 1911 . "Autumn Landscape" by Wassily Kandinsky estimated cost of 20-25 million dollars , reported the press service of the auction house in Russia and the CIS.

Ya.Kryuzhe was born in 1928 . in a small Polish town of Radom. As a budding artist Ya.Kryuzhe at the end of the 1940s . moved to Paris , but later decided to become an art dealer . In 1962 . it opened in Geneva on his first gallery . In 1973. the collector of the first gallery owners spent a posthumous exhibition of works by Pablo Picasso. Ya.Kryuzhe not limited to only one painting : on the walls of his gallery paintings of the XIX and XX century, side by side with the works of the Old Masters and African sculptures , thus breaking the conventional ideas . Such courage earned him the reputation as an innovator and one of the most important gallery owners of the twentieth century.
