 From September 24 to October 5, 2013 in the Concert Hall " Vernadsky" State Geological Museum. VI Vernadsky , Russian Academy of Sciences will be held art exhibition " Planet VERNADSKOGO " dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian scientist, Academician VI Vernadsky . The concept of the exhibition is the assumption of a scientist , " Planet Earth" as a living organism. VI Vernadsky developed the " Doctrine of the biosphere " - shell of the earth , inhabited by living organisms , according to which , on the Earth's surface is constantly acting a powerful force in its consequences , which is taken as a whole living organisms .
 The exhibition is held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli .
 The art exhibition will be attended by members of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia .
