Belarusian artist , teacher , Honored Artist of Belarus. He studied from 1931 to 1935 . at the Vitebsk Art School in Akhremchik IO and FA Voigt , then at the Institute of Painting , Sculpture and Architecture. Repin in Leningrad at the Faculty of Painting at SL Abugova and AA Osmyorkin . All-Russian Academy of Arts graduated after returning from the front in 1948 Thesis - " Kovpak ." For a long time was an assistant professor of the Institute of Fine Arts in Minsk. In 1966 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1960 he was elected Chairman of the Union of Artists of the Byelorussian SSR . He worked in the field of historical paintings, lyrical and industrial landscape , portrait, still life.
