Yankel (born : Kikoin ) Jacob ( Jack ) M. ( April 14, 1920 , Paris). Artist . Son of M. Kikoin. He studied at the School of Applied Arts, the Faculty of Science at the University of Paris and Toulouse , in the School of Applied Geology in Paris. Doctor of Sciences . In 1949-1951 he worked as a geologist in the directorate of France Overseas Territories . Since 1951, devoted himself to painting. Member salons : Independent (since 1952 ) , autumn ( 1953), Maya (1954), comparison ( since 1956 ), " Celebrity and the young of our days" ( since 1957) . Spent in 1957 in Paris at the gallery Romance solo exhibition . Exhibited at Geneva (1958 and 1962 ) , Brussels ( 1965), Tel Aviv (1966), Amsterdam (1966), New York (1967 ), etc. Professor at the Higher National School of Fine Arts ( since 1968) . In 1954 he was awarded the first prize of the Society of Arts .
