Born in Saratov. In 1913, he enrolled at the architecture department of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Soon after he left the Academy of Fine Arts and began studying at New Art Studio, where his fellow students were GS Verey and Boris Grigoriev, and teachers - MVDobuzhinsky and AE Yakovlev. Milashevskaya depicted in the book of memories "Yesterday, the day before yesterday." A great place it occupies the Petrograd House of Arts - refuge in the difficult times that many writers and artists. Breaking with academic tradition, Milashevskiy began a creative way. In 1949, the 150th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin Milashevskiy performed excellent drawings to Pushkin's fairy tales, and this began long enthusiasm for the artist "fabulous" illustration.
