The organizers from the beginning sought to give the project "9 solar Georgians" measurements, covering several aspects:
 
- Bilateral Russian-Georgian relations in recent years, remained a conceptual impasse. The crisis has affected all aspects - political, economic, cultural. With partial change of the regime in power in Georgia situation began to change for the better ... The movement came various forces seeking to improve the bilateral relationship - business, politics, culture. Their mite makes our city, the plans of which the Arts Festival "Days of St. Petersburg in Georgia," as well as the arrival of the Folk Dance Ensemble of Georgia to St. Petersburg. As part of this cultural exchange is also present to you the exhibition of Georgian artists in St. Petersburg. This is done on the initiative of the Foreign Relations Committee and the Committee on Culture of the Government of St. Petersburg. Hopefully, the art that is the bearer of the most universal language of communication, will help the Georgian and Russian people to restore friendly relations.
 
- All artists participating in the exhibition refugees - come from Sukhumi, who left their homeland in the Georgian-Abkhaz war. St. Petersburg has become their second home. This exhibition, in a way, thanks to the artist the city and its residents. Here they create and contribute to the cultural development of the "cultural capital" of Russia. And by the way, they became the visible embodiment of the "tolerance", implemented by the city government. The artists participating in the exhibition: Shakro Bokuchava Alexander Boyadzhan, Revaz Zhvania, Revaz Kvaratskhelia Machaladze Larry Levan Mosiashvili, Tengiz Harbediya Igor Cholariya, Roland Shalamberidze.
 
- All those who love the southern sun, the black sea, ships, unique flavor of Georgian villages, find it all in the exhibited paintings. Amazingly bright, delicate, fascinating ... Many visitors who have not been on Georgian resorts and, in fact, in Georgia, you may have nostalgic feelings associated with boundless charm and beauty of this place and these people.

The exhibition will feature more than one hundred paintings.
