Upon its completion in 1882, moved to St. Petersburg and entered the IAH. In 1883 he was awarded a large and a small silver medal for the sketch and drawing, in 1884 - a large silver coin. In 1886 he received the title of class artist level 2 for the performance of the "St. Irina takes arrows at St. Sebastian. "
