Circus - eccentric, focus, risk, skill on the verge of fantasy, laughter, and sometimes the Homeric, till you drop! All this has attracted artists since ancient times - first, nameless, and later known by the name - was the first Bosch, Bruegel the Elder then ... And so in the nineteenth century circus went charmed powerful jamb - Goya, Daumier, for them - Degas, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec; in the twentieth century - Picasso, Matisse, Dali, Fonvizin, Tyshler, Rodchenko, and Marc Chagall, in a recent paper that "The Big Circus," the world is represented as a circus in which all of life lies in the range of the arena.

Artists, works with our gallery - star art scene of the second half of the twentieth century and twenty-first century masters - captured the theme of joyful submission, which for many artists becomes a metaphor for human life and the modern artist in the world. Masters, working with our gallery, especially for the project made objects, installations, invented miracles and magic tricks that only as "Circus" will not name.
 
Our bright, cheerful and eccentric art project is addressed, like the circus, and for children and adults. And we hope that during the Christmas holidays visiting our gallery will be a joyous family output.
 
The program includes clowns, magicians, animals and attractions.

At this exhibition is to go, despite the New Year's bustle and traffic jams.
 The bright, varied and at the same time profound, provocative meditation on the art and of our time - this exhibition will amuse both children and adults.

5-8. Video art by Alexander Dolgin, "Circus." Starring German Vinogradov.
 The film is quite long and very varied plot twists happen to the hero of Vinogradov in this video. Witty, fun, but this film is not pure entertainment. It seemed to me that this story about the internal "circus" of any talented and bright person.
There, and the flames, and elephants, threatening to trample the hero, and flying in a dream and waking, and dance and split (razdesyatereniya))) of the individual. Vinogradov - amazingly talented mime, watch his reactions to what is happening on the stage of his "I" - pure fun!
Dolgin, as usual, got to the point.

3-7. The work of Leonid Tishkov (names I did not record)
 This installation has made a deep impression on me.
I'll describe in a nutshell: on the edge of the arena sits a clown in a cage - "firm" Tishkovsky month, around the perimeter of the arena covered with sawdust. The clown who can not see the person in thick red wig, sits and stares at the scene where the main action takes place ...
On the stage projected film by Leonid Tishkov. An amazing film about the loneliness of man in this vast world within the bustling crowd. On the vast scale of this world, fit, for all that, within a small circus arena.
Contrast the sad clown in the most simple clown garb and that accurate and comprehensive film about the people-ants and their lives in the modern world is simply amazing.


And it's not all!
 I have not written about the schedule and Stenberg Dobuzhinsky not told about the curious interactive "spaceship" Nasedkina and much more.
 To be honest, I did not expect that this project was so interesting and at the same time serious, funny, and at the same time tragic. And it is very human.
