Condolences .....
Funny Pictures VITALY STATSINSKOGO, or the story of how the time has turned back Vitaly Statsinsky - Russian artist from Paris - young, but extraordinarily resilient and cheerful people. His work is remembered by many magazines "Gingerbread Man," "Fun", "Week". But it was an artist before his departure to the West in 1978. There, settling in Paris in the "Mecca of Artists, Statsinsky started making books. Books that were listed not in any templanah that were not ordered by anyone who is not subject to any censorship. These were the books of his friends - poets, writers, artists. And books for children - Russian folk tale, the Russian and French. Looking at books Statsinskogo involuntarily exclaim: "What a fun thing to do books!" Well, who tell me, will illustrate the "pink" book Benedict Erofeev about Lenin? Or who dare to decorate their drawings facsimile edition of Yevgeny Zamyatin's 1920. And who will make a children's book in a foreign language, so that at first sight immediately understand - it is a Russian fairy tale! In a creative manner the artist a lot of Alexei Remizov - the same commitment to the myth, fairy tale, the use of folk motifs of folklore. Each of his book Vitaly Statsinsky turns into an exciting game, fun, full of fun and mischievous pranks ... Once the arrival of the artist in Russia, we are talking to him in his Moscow apartment. - Vitali Kazimirovich tell us a little about yourself. - I was born on October 6, 1928 in Kyzyl-Orda (Kazakhstan). At that time my father worked for the People's Commissar of Health of the Republic. Then there was Moscow, where the Pope was appointed to the People's Commissariat for the post of deputy Kaganovich on health-care work. But a terrible thirty-seventh year did not pass my father's side, he was arrested and in 1938 was sentenced to "10 years incommunicado." Naturally, the family, "the enemy of the people" (my mother, except me, had two more children) were sent from Moscow in the Moscow Pushkin, where we were allowed to occupy two rooms in the barracks. Thus ended my childhood and took first encounter with the harsh reality of life. - How did you become an artist? - The first name of "artist" I got to ... Butyrskaya, and this story requires a separate story. In the autumn of 1941, when the German was eager to Moscow and the likelihood of "Blitzkrieg" was very real, several of the same green as I am, the boys decided to arm themselves to repel the enemy in their native land. Get a weapon at the time was not a problem, and after a while we were a small but truly armed "combat unit". Now we need to learn to shoot and throw grenades accurately than we do and started using the local open spaces and ravines. Of course, they found well-wishers who knocked on us to be. And on "fun" defenders of the homeland threatens the real, real danger. Fortunately, there was a man who alerted about the arrest, and we have had the good sense to get rid of its arsenal. Nevertheless, the NKVD was not long in coming, and after a while all of our "guerrilla unit" was in one of the cameras notorious Butyrskaya. And here, in prison, suffering from cold, hunger and humiliation of seeing one as obsessed over the next pattern tattooed felons, I mustered the courage, walked over and said: "I can draw it." And painted on the back to have this simple plot, which was immediately approved, and I got the "title" artist. This suddenly acquired "profession" has helped me to survive in the inhuman conditions, from this day the criminals began to feed the "artist" and did not let it hurt. Fortunately, my "prison universities, considering children's age (I was only 13 years old), and the lack of" material evidence "(which rested on the bottom of the waste pits in Pushkino) ended unexpectedly light sentence - two years suspended sentence. And I went back to his grizzled for this time of the mother. - And now art education? - After the war, I enrolled at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute and graduated with honors in 1953. Here I noticed a renowned scholar and connoisseur of the book Professor Alexey Sidorov, whom I may call his godfather. Not without his help I got in 1956 in the newly founded "Fun" and worked there for an artist and art editor for over 10 years. Incidentally, when I left the magazine, its circulation had reached six million - an absolute record for a children's periodicals, which are officially registered in the Guinness Book. Then I worked as chief designer and chief editor of music magazine "Gingerbread Man". - Why did you decide to leave the country? - Oddly enough, my exile is more economic than political reasons. In 1973 I retired from "Kolobok" and began working on contracts in various publishing houses. But after a while it was one of "bad" art, although it was far from the "left" art. Gradually, one after the other publishers have simply ceased to give me a job. Therefore, after long and painful deliberation, I decided to leave the country. - How you met in the West? - In France, where I decided to settle down, I took a good, true, first, I was forced to exist by selling books from his library. I remember, for example, "rescued" a rare instance of "vote for" Mayakovsky, the sale of which gave me the opportunity to work quietly, without thinking about their daily bread, for a sufficiently long time. Helped me and a famous collector George Costakis, the first who had bought me a few lithographs, and then loaned me money for the purchase of the studio. Nevertheless, the main difficulty was to begin work on their own, getting rid of the "inner" censorship inherent in me as any Soviet artist. The first book, I have made in the West, were printed copies of a few dozen copies and is a collection of poems of poets close to me. Later I began working with major publishers, and quite successfully, such as "Gingerbread Man" - my French children's book - stood five editions. Unfortunately, I can not boast of similar successes in the case with domestic publishers. Back in 1992 I published the first volume of his "cherished fairy tales" Afanasyev, 30000th edition of which was sold in Russia for six months. Then for "Rosmena" me and my wife, a talented book designer Tatyana Zvereva, were illustrated and fully prepared to print the second and the third volume of this edition. Unfortunately, the Russian side has not fulfilled its obligations, and these models have never published volumes Afanasiev tales are still waiting for his publisher. - What is the reason your current visit to Russia? - A few days later in Moscow, opened our show with Tatiana. This event is timed and the publication of my monograph. I take this opportunity to invite all comers to the Literary Museum, where from September 22 to October 22 will be held this exhibition, which we call "time ago!" Interviewed by Leo Shprints

Yes ... Active, cheerful person, and not to rush past.
Decided to duplicate a message in memory of threads about it (most recently 08/24 - was still alive). Vitaly Statsinsky-luminary of the Jolly pictures » Funny pictures it did not change either in the same journal, or in illustrations "cherished fairy tales" that are no longer for children (with a normal mentality). Although it might, just once, when, as an eyewitness fiasco (or elevation) of friends, created a series of "Bulldozer Exhibition eye witnesses." Vitaly Kazimirovich Statsinsky - a graphic artist. Born Oct. 6, 1928 in Kyzyl-Orda, the Kazakh SSR. In 1941, aged 13 years was a member of the group of amateur teens who procured arms and preparing for the defense of Moscow from the Germans. "Suitable freight train, the soldiers jump out of it:" Guys, where there would be something ... A piece of bread would be ... "And in return gave the weapon. For a pack of tobacco you could get a box limonok. "He was arrested and sat in the Butyrskaya three months. There, at the request of criminals drew tattoos. These were his first artistic experiments. Then there was the court and B. Statsinsky received two years probation (as the organizer of the gang). After the war he entered the Moscow Polygraphic Institute and graduated in 1953. In 1956 he began working in the new magazine "Fun". "Even then I was absolutely convinced that children need to draw differently than adults. We must be sure to spot five fingers, make sure little white tail and so on." Problems at work: Every three months we were called to the Central Committee of Komsomol. Here's how something has been brewing for another scandal, and we decided to call with a Agniyu Barto, but she said she was busy. Semenov said: "Vitali is the most reliable - it Mikhalkov. Call ". Come. Began meeting this Pustynin of "Crocodile": here, the children's magazine in the Komsomol, and what's going on - at number 15 dogs, 26 cats, all kinds of frogs, mice, and the pioneers is almost there. And suddenly, Sergey, as always, stammering: "And I think that the magazine is very good. And if there will be 26 good mice, rabbits and petrushek, this is better than 25 bad pionerchikov! " In the mid-60's left the magazine: "I got all of this ideology, and especially the endless calls to the authorities. I have made this magazine what he wanted. The wife often said: "Vitali, choose - or you are an artist, or a major artist." I left the "Fun" and started drawing for "Detgiz" for "Goslita", "Sovpisa." "I brought copies" Fun pictures "to 10 million. Now, 118,000 pcs. A few years later moved to the main artist in the "Gingerbread Man". On the "Bulldozer Exhibition", which was attended by all his friends: "I was invited, but I did not go. I was a spectator, watching these guys in jeans with a Komsomol badge zashvyrivali pictures on the truck - there was screaming, cursing, in the course of someone climbing into the back, snatched my story ... my father taught me to be very careful. I've had enough Butyrki. If you guys asked for a drawing or lithograph, I would give, but to like this - "Long live the so-and gut-buy it" - this I had never gone. " Nevertheless, the KGB has refused to knock on friends and acquaintances, for the opportunity to travel abroad. For refusing to paid career, and everything else, as a consequence. In 1978 he emigrated to France. He currently lives in Paris. George Costakis contributed to the acquisition of his home in Paris, across the street from the Pere Lachaise. "Being a traditional classic illustrator sadly, this is a very difficult profession. You go through the text, but when something out of you vyhlestyvaetsya, it is not always appropriate, something does not work. There are moments when I can two or three months is absolutely nothing to do. " But it did eventually. http://www.liveinternet.ru/users/ale.../post14940504/ Very interesting http://www.inostranets.ru/archive/20..._4/art11.shtml From LCR of Parisian house Statsinskogo: "And then the Paris City Hall expropriated this microscopic piece of land with the house. About to buy something in Paris on compensation was impossible even to think, and Vitali and his wife Tania moved to a house in Provo , near Paris ... " |

The kingdom of heaven Vitaly Kazimirovich ...
Added after 57 minutes The funeral service is expected on Wednesday at 11 am in Provins. Posted 7 hours 59 minutes Vitali Statsinskim I met was in 1985. For me, then he was very old friend - yet he was older than me by 30 years. Vitaly Kazimirovich looked very colorful: leather boots, some in the Russian style shirt with a rope, a cap that covered his bald head. He looked pretty regularly after work (he worked in the Slavic Library, in Nanterre) in Russian Thought ", where I worked, and we inevitably went to a nearby cafe to drink a glass of beer. Vitaly Kazimirovich not only looked picturesque - it was a very colorful personality, he loved strong folk mot. Soon I was at his house in 20 districts, he was made to subjects of Russian folk art, a samovar, etc. Now do not remember exactly, but perhaps he first time I heard Khvostenko (well, and saw). He has a whole evening to sing his songs. Somewhere in late 1980 or early 1990 Vitaly Kazimirovich asked me to type on the typesetter one or two books which he illustrated and published. One of them - Igor Holin, about the inhabitants of the barracks. I went to him and later when he stopped coming to Paris, his friend Vladimir Pribylovsky. When Vitaly Kazimirovich came to Moscow, they certainly Pribylovsky and repeatedly went to the bath. After closing the "Russian Thought" in 2001 and I left out of our meetings have become much more rare. The last time I saw him on Feb. 12 at the opening of the gallery of Peter the Great, in Paris, near the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral on Rue Daru. He was strongly postaremshi, but do not give the impression that may leave this world later this year. It was a kind soul and my dear people. Last week, watching the announcement show THG in amazement found in this:
The exhibition of the "Golden Fund of" Fun " December 15 - February 20, 2011 Krimsky Val, 10, Halls № 80-82 Announcement of the exhibition: On this edition of the popular children's magazine collaborated most famous cartoonist, cartoonists, graphic, wizard book illustration, such as I. Semenov, K. mouth, V. Pivovarov, I. Kabakov, E. Gorokhovskiy, Y. Norstein. Their pictures are in the collection fund, which also includes a rich collection of children's works, collected over the years of the magazine. This exhibition devoted to the 55 th anniversary edition, will present the best works from the collection fund. I think that TG is simply not aware of the tragic events. I think that if someone from the esteemed participants of the Forum took on such responsibility, and notified the State Tretyakov Gallery, the death of V. Statsinskogo, it is assumed instead of the jubilee exhibition, would be an exhibition of memory. Get even better than expected, at least, it would look decent. |

Departed this life a wonderful, sunny man, artist, personality ... In our country, his drawings, illustrations in magazines "Fun" and "Gingerbread Man" known and loved all children and their parents!
Hard and bitter from the fact that he, more than 20 years, all thoughts, all my soul lived fate of Russia, died in exile. I met with Vitali in the early 70's and, despite the great difference in age, we were friends. Vitali was not only a talented artist, but also a great restorer. I remember how, with him climbed the dusty attics of old houses, intended for demolition, in Marina Grove, in search of ancient utensils. Vitaly had golden hands - he was revived from oblivion antique furniture, household items ... His home was more like a museum than an ordinary Moscow apartment. After his forced departure, first to Canada and then to France, I lost contact with him. Being in Paris in 2006, tried to find Vitali in the telephone directory in the hotel but to no avail. But one evening, on a nearly empty platform subway station "Grands Boulevards", he heard Russian spoken to my wife and walked a couple of young people. Asked - where we are, how long will come and whether in Paris, we know. I replied that I hoped to meet in Paris with his old friend, but have not found his phone number or address. The young man asked: "What is the name of your friend?" The answer is: "Vitali Statsinsky. And then the unbelievable happened - the young man silently dialed the phone, then handed it to me: "Say it is Vital! The next day my wife met with Vitali in his small house on the outskirts of Paris, near the cemetery Père Lachaise. He was still energetic, cheerful and full of plans for the future! For a start, prudently hid out our modest cadeau, - a bottle of Stolichnaya, brought us from Moscow, took a bottle of his wonderful "berievki. And it began - "Do you remember ?...". Remember friends in common, our trips to the attic in search of "antiques". They remembered his blue Buick, which was not raised a folding top - but because Kazimirych winter traveled to Moscow in a sheepskin coat, in some unthinkable Treukhov and ski goggles! The evening flew instantly. Vitali wanted us to stay with him, but we waited Moscow ... The last time we met with Vitali in Moscow, during his solo show at the House Children's Books. What kind of warmth about him spoke of his friends and colleagues - and Vadim Yusov and Yuri Ryzhov, and many others, whose heart is always warmed by contact with Vitali Kazimirovich Statsinskim! No longer with us Vitaly Kazimirovich, but his work will live forever in our memory, in memory of our children and grandchildren! Sincere condolences to the widow Vitaly Kazimirovich - Tatiana Zvereva! The bright memory of you, my dear friend!
