Shows You picture is a copy of the works of I. Aivazovsky "moonlit night on the Black sea". It its original name, found in pre-revolutionary sources. In my archive there is a postcard issued before 1917, with a reproduction of this painting (see attachment).
In 2010 this painting by Aivazovsky passed through "the 28th Russian antique salon" under the shortened title "the moonlit night" (72,h,5) 1887. Apparently this work, evoke a romantic mood, haunted the artists often copied both known and lesser-known painters. Copies of this painting of sea scapes found in E. Gregory Odiseevich took lessons from Aivazovsky, Kapustin Grigory Ivanovich. There are a large number of attempts to issue copies of the landscape for original works of Aivazovsky. And on "the 29th Russian Antique Salon" was held here this "Moonlight" by Aivazovsky - 1987, c /m, 46.4 x60.
