Vladimir Isaakovich Ehrlich belongs to a generation of Soviet artists, whose work formed the difficult postwar years. Artistic inclinations it appeared early, and eventually solidified a strong desire to devote his life to art. But the war interrupted his studies, and only in 1946, B. Ehrlich entered the Dnipropetrovsk Art College. His first teachers and mentors have become well-known artists NS Pogrebnyak and M. Panin, who reared a large galaxy of great masters of the Ukrainian Soviet art.
From the first days in the walls of the school B. Ehrlich works hard, as if making up for lost years, and as a result, while still a third-year student, becomes a party to regional exhibition of professional artists. This solo exhibition by the 60 th anniversary of V. Ehrlich gives us more than thirty-year career of an artist whose talent has always been called to the people. The exhibition presents almost all genres of painting: the portrait, pictures, landscape, still life. A small section of graphics, which exhibited etchings, drawings in ink, pencil, red chalk and watercolor, successfully complements the author's monologue artist.
