Egorov Gallery behalf of the Lumiere brothers

Yesterday in the gallery named after the Lumiere brothers in the CHA opened an exhibition of Soviet photography Classic Basil Egorova (1914-2007). He was a political photographer, over the years TASS press photographer from 1946 to 1979 he visited all the republics of the Soviet Union and toured many countries. The exhibition is timed to his 95 th anniversary.

Vasiliy Egorov was a pioneer of political reportage, which is especially evident in his photographs of the meetings of Soviet and foreign political figures. But these photos do not appear when the pages of newspapers and magazines, they have remained in the files marked "Democratic Party", which meant "not for publication".
