Evgeny Shcheglov (March 21, 1927 — December 12, 1991) is a Soviet plot-cartoonist, Illustrator, designer. Known as one of the leading masters of caricature in the post-war Soviet art. Honored artist of the RSFSR.
Worked as a regular freelance artist in the magazine "Crocodile", the author of humorous albums of drawings "Humor", "good morning", "big and small", "My friends," "Caution children!" . Illustrated the works of writers — satirists, drew for magazines "Fun", "Health", "pioneer". Arranged several performances in theaters of Moscow, worked for the circus, clown making rooms, the participant over a hundred Moscow and international exhibitions. The works of Eugene Scheglov are in many museums around the country, published in his album of genre paintings in the collections of drawings of the masters of caricature, published in Moscow and abroad, as well as in domestic and foreign periodicals.
