Leonid Gadi - my favorite artist

From the works of Leonid Gadi I met more than ten years ago and since then I am an admirer and researcher of his work. Gadi Biography (1930-1989) is not rich bright external events. His creative period took place in the tough post-war years in the city where he was born a genius Arkhip Kuindzhi, but, nevertheless, provincial, far from the art centers, where accelerated tempo was the development of heavy industry, and culture, as always, was financed on a residual basis. These factors and other circumstances have prevented an adequate measure to reveal the talent of the artist and not contributing to a true assessment of his work.
First, I want to introduce you to the works of artist Mariupol, and then the Crimean cycles. In Feodosia, the artist was living mother-in-law, where he arrived with his wife every summer.

Now, my favorite picture Gadi. In early 1970 the artist was at the peak of its development. It poses a complex pictorial task - to show genre scenes by the sea, illuminated by backlit. I propose to see some more works Leonid Gadi - a graduate of the Rostov-on-Don artist. College (1947-1952 years. study). Maybe someone know any other wizard, biographical information, photos, etc. The artist wrote a lot of great sketches (including the Crimea), which are easily parted, and where they are now God only knows.
