Moving away from tradition in an experiment in search - that's creative credo Alexei Konstantinov. All his life he resisted the conventional wisdom in the art. Obsessed with the faith and the constant search allows this lonely, but passionate and devoted artist to redo the world, at least on canvas, his will as he had represented him in the inner sensation. Birth of the work is for him a kind act of creation. Maybe so every job nurtured them indefinitely.
Konstantinov refused from Russia for 1960-70-s visual language of painting, because his inner feelings and concepts did not fit this form of expression. Artist's own attitude more consistent geometric-constructive start. Non-objectivity regarded them as the essence of universal concepts.
Find a method of constructing a plastic space was not only through their own searching, but also through the development achievements of avant-garde. There is no doubt that a particular understanding of expression lines, spots of color, geometric forms and decorative paintings integrity Konstantinov was required familiarity with the course of the 20 th century such as Cubism, Fauvism, Constructivism. While his plastic language, in fact, was not the invention of art, but it was a revelation in a fairly uncompromising atmosphere of Soviet Art 1960's - early 1980's. However, solved in a different vein, fine, they taught analytical vision, opened a new view of the world, as a result of creating another form of thinking.
