Artists " buy " the national idea of Russia for 300 000

Today, November 29, 2012 kicks off nationwide competition art concepts of " national idea of Russia." Any Russian can take part in the competition and offer their own vision of the national idea. Best concept was embodied in the work of contemporary art and will be represented at the Venice Biennale in 2013 , and the author of the idea will receive the Grand Prix - 300 000 .

An interesting initiative. I talked to them during the exhibition ArtMoscow and then they simply bought the concept. But the results of that deliberation undertakings corrected the problem and just went on an epic scale .
Personally, I have a question - but in general there is such a thing as a " national idea "? news about it here .
