The painting was done on cardboard, size about 40 * 30 cm got from his great-grandfather, brought back from Germany after the war.
I would like to know who the author is and whether the value of the painting.

There is a tourist town in Germany.

This , apparently , the place in which the work was written (National Park) . Before the war , in 1892.
anton2000, all signs show a close-up ( bottom right there is something there , too .)
