This concept is not in pure form. And not even a series of graphic works, made by Nestor Povarnin in different periods of life and creativity. This is his personal sense of reality, transformed into imagery, he created a set of characters that can be used to convey the world that exists in another dimension, sometimes visible only to the eye of the artist.
Nestor's work should be seen primarily as a composition of self-worth, without grasping the ideological and logical foundations, both for the sake of improvisation improvisation, in fact - they often slip thin grotesque humor, sometimes turning into a hidden irony, deep-felt and informed. When looking at the figures is a feeling on the one hand, the artist, taking the pen, did not know what he wanted to create, on the other - very precisely and logically reflects the internal state of the art at the time. This is underscored by the unique style of his drawings with captions, in the technique of calligraphy. By the mid-2000s. Nestor is a supporter of compactness, the partial images of objects and planar solutions specific to the Chinese and Japanese woodcuts, his works are also characterized by subtlety eastern pencil and ink drawings. In his work monochrome painting, born in China, the art of "syuyboku" intertwined with florid ornamentation of Persian, Indian, Arab miniatures. Fine in drawing, planar, symbolic, bearing the seal and the special retrospectivist gloomy romance, works of graphic art by Nestor style can be put in series with the works of St. Petersburg artists of the early twentieth century from the "World of Art". However, the work of Nestor inherent expressiveness, even some "foamed" forms, as if torn from the inside, not typical of the graphs of the past.
Nestor re-creates the world in his head, reflecting the reality of a whimsically twisted white lines on a black surface of the sheet or black - on white. Aesthetics of immorality - the most accurate description of erotic works of the cycle. On the one hand, these works have elements of the grotesque perversion and expressed mixed forms of human and animal body, accentuated with ugliness in hypertrophic sizes of the various organs. However, when looking at these images do not have the feeling of temptation, on the contrary - a refinement of debauchery slips original author's desire to find the beauty and originality in the unnatural.

Each of the creator in the art of its way along which he consciously or unconsciously, in microcosm reflects the macrocosm of his creative life. Sometimes the illusion of reality is perceived sharper and more vivid than reality. The modern era of intellectual revives interest in graphic art, freedom of association, individualism. After a number of years that now seem delusional, crazy, fruit perverted fantasies come true and take its rightful place in the visual arts.

I am a realist, I think, to a certain part, not making this up, such that it is absolutely impossible to see. It was surprising to find out that my characters a word in the extinct peoples of the Far East, and also I was surprised when he realized that my graphic symbols can be found in the Vedic myths.
Moreover, that never studied. Many would agree that it's weird, and I agree. About 10 years trying to work is original and elegant. These are the principles of my work to date. And much better to know the truth: I sit down at my desk at 8 am, and draw up to 13 - 14 hours. And in the evening too. This is not a regular practice, but they are not related to spontaneous exercise of inspiration, more like sessions.
One figure takes 4-8 hours, there is of course the picture that I drew a few days, weeks. I do not hardly ever sketches and sketches.
Many see in my work demonic, infernal imagery and asked, "Are you in my soul so dark?" These questions usually asked by women, as a rule, rarely men. I think that this problem is not women, and contemporary art, in which many of the synthesized images of the media, and few of the sacred, sincere energy fantasy. Therefore, when faced with the energy of my images, some ladies catharsis comes from the nature of the image of discomfort. Or from other experiences. Although I admit that I was indeed gloomy. After all, so many had to sit in a room in his life.
