High reputation of the Salon is an authoritative work of the Expert Council consisting of leading national experts. Traditionally, Antique Salon galleries save up their best finds. Artefacts associated with the imperial Romanov dynasty have always attracted collectors. As the monuments of Russian history, these works addressed the first persons of the country, often represent the highest achievements of the national schools of art. After 1917, many of them were dumped on the market and become the object of attention of collectors beyond the borders of Russia. Over the past twenty years, returned home a lot of relics, until recently had seemed irretrievably lost. Exhibition of artifacts from private collections in Moscow and St. Petersburg is the recent discoveries made by Russian collectors, enters into scientific unknown or considered lost masterpieces.
