Selling paintings by Boris Prorokova 30 - 50's , boom. , Sm.tehnika , pencil, 30h22 , 35h24sm .

Prophets Boris (1911, Ivanovo- Voznesensk - 1972, Moscow ).

People's Artist of the USSR ( 1971), corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1954). In 1929-1931 . studied in VKhUTEMAS - VHUTEINe in NK Istomin , PY Pavlinova , NA Udaltsova , DS Moor. Employee of the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda" ( 1931-38 ), the magazines " Change" ( 1929-1937 ) and " Crocodile" ( from 1938 ). In the 2 nd half of the 40 's and 60 's. created the most significant works - case series of easel paintings , the size of the approaching to the poster and on the struggle of peoples for peace, against imperialist aggression and response , social and racial inequality. In 1952 he was awarded the USSR State Prize for the series of works "Mayakovsky about America ." A series of " Never again ! " Was awarded the Lenin Prize in 1961 , 1981 in Ivanovo opened the house-museum of the artist. His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum , in many regional museums and in private collections in Russia.
