Ukrainian painter and graphic artist, a master of lyrical landscape.
Nepiypivo Ignatievich Basil was born December 28, 1916 in the village of Kamenka Poltava province (now Dykanka district, Poltava region).
He graduated from the Kharkov art studio.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals.
Since 1951, participated in the regional, national, Union and international art exhibitions.
In 1980, in Kiev held a solo exhibition of the artist.
In 1982 Nepeypivo VI received the title - " People's Artist of the USSR ."
Lived and worked in in Kyiv.
His works are in museums , galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad .
