From March 14 to April 8 at the Central House of Artists will host the exhibition " Cryptography of the Universe ." This is a joint project of the Gallery " Vellum" and " Foreign East ." Viewers will learn about the impact of the cultural traditions of the East on the development of Russian art of the first half of the twentieth century . First of all, we are talking about the ideas of the Russian cosmism - on the creative platform, in which the universe , "universe " and the relationship between man and the cosmos are the main themes of artists .
The exhibition features the work of Maximilian Voloshin , artists group "Amaravella" - Boris Smirnov- Fateev Rusetsky and Peter - as well as decorative and applied arts of China and Buddhist relics.

Passion mystical traditions, rapidly spread in Russia at the turn of the XIX - XX centuries, touched and artists. In a colorful picture of artistic trends that emerged in the 1910-1920-ies., Stand out artists of the "Amaravella." The general idea, uniting artists of this community, they have been formulated in the manifesto: "Our creative and intuitive for the most part, focused on different aspects of the disclosure of the Cosmos - in human form in the landscape and in the mapping of abstract images of the inner world." Special influence on the attitudes of Roerich had Voloshin.
The spiritual content of painting as Voloshin, and artists' Amaravella "stemmed from their romantic world view, their passion of ancient and modern philosophy, eastern philosophy and theosophy.
