Very similar to the Baltic states of Latvia, or graduates of Fine Arts.

See caption carefully, if it reads like a Preyss

alternatively: the author of your studies can be Preysc Jurgis Ionasovich (Hans Richard), 1904-1984

Obviously, in recognition of his weighty services to the Soviet foreign intelligence service apartment and studio for painting the official authorities of the German emigre artists were not granted anywhere, but in Moscow. However, with the onset of the Great Patriotic War, he as a person of German nationality was among those forcibly deported from the capital of Siberia, and in the first two months held here in an internment camp. At the last turn of life, the artist once again found his creative "I". But it remained his personal victory, not the award of public attention "
He died in 1984.
He was buried in the city of Kemerovo.
Currently, the bulk of the artist's creative heritage is stored in the Kemerovo - part of a total of more than a hundred paintings in the walls of the Kemerovo Oblast Fine Arts Museum, which is exhibited in the permanent exhibition as monokollektsiya, and some - in the private collection of his adopted daughter - LA . Good day! I am glad that you found this topic and you know the history of these works. This work came to me by inheritance from the father, and he was from his mother. She was also a painter , and was clearly familiar with your stepfather. The portrait in this thread shows my grandmother, whose story I am trying to find out. http://forum.artinvestment.ru/showthread.php?t=139741

If you can shed some light on the fate of these works , I 'll be very grateful to you . Imagined that you also know how your stepfather was acquainted with my grandmother.

thank you
