After a loud debut in 1965, it seemed, the artist always "prescribe" a film studio "Mosfilm", but from the flattering proposal to enter into the state, he refused. Stories about their favorite women, memories of Tarkovsky, Shpalikov, Oscar Rabin, Tonino Guerra and his other buddies were decorated with illustrations of the artist. In 2004 they released their second collection of the author's "Hammer".

Artwork by Michael Romadina kept in the Tretyakov Gallery, State Historical Museum in Moscow, in the museums of Peter Ludwig in Cologne, Aachen, Budapest and Beijing, the museum Zimmerly (Rutgers University, USA), the museum palace Invalides and UNESCO meeting in Paris, Palais des Nations in Geneva, as well as in private collections in Russia and other countries in the world.
