Information about the artist:
Svetogorov Evgeny (1913-1981)
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1974). In the years 1948-57 - Executive Secretary of the Kalinin Oblast branch of the Union of Soviet Artists in the years 1957-74 - Chairman of the Kalinin (now Tver) branch of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR.
Participation in exhibitions - with solo exhibitions in 1929 - in Kalinin (now Tver) in 1970 and 1974.
Tver Regional Art Gallery ("empty stadium" (1951)
series "Seliger in June" (1963), the cycle "The Seasons" (1973), a series of
linocuts dedicated to Kalinin (1967)).
