July 9 at the Museum of the creative association "Mitka" will open a commemorative exhibition in St. Petersburg photographer Vladimir Anferova, author of the surprisingly lyrical photographic landscapes of the city, as well as expressive portraits of St. Petersburg artists, writers and poets.
Photographer Anferov Vladimir died the first of June 2011. He was born in Moscow in 1953. The love of photography instilled in him by his uncle, a professional photographer VS Priymenko, who became his first teacher, and with whom Vladimir took his first photo series.
In the works of Vladimir Anferova always felt a special, peculiar only to him, enthusiasm, lightness and lyricism. And although his work is a series of papers belonging to the direction of photo-underground, which represented the state of "black and white" of St. Petersburg, with its beauty undress, especially Vladimir Anferovu always managed with the help of photographs to depict his admiration for the magnificence of the city, which he always saw color.
Vladimir Anferov was the closest friend of the photographer Boris Smelov (1951-1998), the legend of St. Petersburg informal photographs. Friends met at the plant decorative and applied arts, where they worked together. It was opened by Vladimir Boris Smelov work of such great photographers as Sudek J., and A. Cartier-Bresson, which changed his approach to photography.
The exhibition includes several series of landscapes of St. Petersburg, one of them, set up in 80 years, transfers his admiration for the city, while other recent series show a romantic state of undress Petersburg.
Among the works of Vladimir Anferova especially interesting portraits, in which he always managed to bring a special state of mind of those who posed for him.
   One of those photographs was Anferova bohemians. In the lens of his camera got friends, artists and writers. These guests often gather in the house of his friends, the photographer Boris Smelov, his wife, artist Natalia Zhilina and her son, artist Dmitry Shagin. Anferov especially liked being here, he's always been happy and welcomed as a brother. The unique atmosphere created in this house with an interior of beautiful old objects, carefully collected from antique shops and arranged in a still life composition, its disposal to the guests talks about art and literature banned.
Such contacts occurred in the studio of Anferova. Here he created his first still life, but Vladimir himself at that time said that Boris get steeper. After all, it created a special genre Smelov "St. Petersburg still life" - with songs from the subjects before the revolution of everyday life. Only in 2007 Anferov felt ripe for a large series of still lifes. His photographs from the series "In the old country house" with glass decanters and glasses are similar to watercolor works. They are amazingly tender, filled with light, in which all things seemed to breathe the fresh country air.
Vladimir Anferov had incredibly subtle perception of the world, in all his house as if it had been steeped in creativity and sincere worship of beauty.
Already disappeared forever poetic atmosphere of the Leningrad underground, but the photographer Vladimir Anferov, as well as his friends and relatives, captured in his beautiful photographs, will remain forever a legend involved in "black and white" of St. Petersburg.
