"River of Time" opens in Nizhny Novgorod

Personal exhibition of works of Nizhny Novgorod artist - landscape painter Dmitry Ganin held in the halls of the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum March 25, 2011 at 16:00. This is reported in NNSAM.

The exhibition includes about a hundred paintings from the collection of the author's private and corporate collections in Nizhny Novgorod. Among the works - works from various periods, generally covering more than twenty years of creativity.

At the core landscape art Ganin - traditions of classical Russian landscape painting, which is closely connected with the names Savrasov, Levitan, Ostroukhova, Zhukovsky. The exhibition includes images of the paintings of Russian nature, and store the freshness of first impressions etudes.

One section of the exhibition devoted to the marine landscape. The coast of Aquitaine were sealed by the artist during the creative trips to France. Genre portrait presented in the exposition mainly female image.

Dmitry Ganin was born in Ardatov Gorky region in 1959. In 1986 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. VISurikova. Since 1991 - Member of the Artists Union of Russia. Since 1984 - a permanent participant of Russian and foreign exhibitions. Lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod.
