Here's another artist who works with whom I poznakoilas just the other day . They really liked me , and I want to show them to you .

Andrew Kortovich graduated from the Faculty of Art and the technical design of printed materials of the Moscow State University Press (formerly the Polygraph Institute ).

" Portrait genre for me is the closest . To do portraits , I use my favorite technique : oil painting , edging woodcuts, linocuts , gel pen , oil pastel . Since 2004, seriously doing embroidery , which has invented a new method for stitching large panels of acrylic yarn - says the artist .

I confess I have always belonged to the linocuts with some disdain . And Kortovicha me just like most linocuts - both dishes , especially the second , a miracle (but do not say again that this is because many Roginsky painted teapots , plates and even a kitchen - No , it does not because ! ).

Series " Siege N. " also , in my opinion , absolutely gorgeous . And what wonderful bookplates , I want this - will have to persuade Andrew to give me a bookplate .
