In Sochi Art Museum opened an exhibition of seascapes from the storerooms of the museum.
One of the earliest time creating landscapes in the exhibition is "The Sea" KC Kostandi. In the picture VN Kuchumova "Crimea. View of the Sea "(1938), we see not only the marine landscape, but also the social signs of age. The nature of the silhouette of a female figure at the parapet with thick plaster balusters and decorative ball is transferred to a Soviet pre-war period. The exhibition presents works of artists and the Moscow school.
