Was Deineka Baikal or was not, nobody would say. I think an artist with a worldwide reputation could afford a trip to Lake Baikal! But Baikal this picture to me personally, does not like, it's more like a Kimeriyu, the one which drew Maximilian Voloshin is a neighborhood of modern Feodosia and Sudak.

Dear Sandro, my opinion, you should additionally ask the VP Sysoev (If you are seriously thinking about buying this painting, the price I do not think small?).

I was hoping for вобще forumchan ... that - anything but prompt
the opportunity, will turn to Sysoev. For it is necessary to seek advice from the street to him not priydesh, in principle, as any other expert.

As for Lake Baikal: a biography Deineki mention of a trip to Lake Baikal is not found (within a few days, I hope to be able to see good edition), but at a certain site is caught painting "The Milkmaid", written in the same in 1959 and located in the collections of the Irkutsk Art Museum . Of course, this is not any argument, but take note worth.

I think that in the 59-m was not.
It's that time actively engaged in mosaics, sculpture, monumental in general and yes, this trip would be affected by a cycle of work, I think. |

Generally in life Deineki there are some mysterious point: seems to glorify the triumph of socialism did not prevent Alexander Alexandrovich sit out his own. In particular, the famous self-portrait in his underwear and bathrobe, where he has a pretty aristocratic appearance, made in the camp - who would have thought? I reported this read somewhere, and then looked for a little confirmation, but did not find and threw it.
So, the camp, as everyone (except for Pavlik, but he was lying on a beach solnchnom) is known, were in the eastern part of your vast country - it's me to the question of Lake Baikal. Maybe look in this direction? |
