Was there Berestov really?
In one of the issues of the magazine "Antiques" in 2002, in section "News", was placed image picture and note:
"Is the picture Berestov? Content notes predicts the emergence of the Moscow market of some kind of picture" Shepherd ", while not attributed, but according to anonymous experts, brush Berestov Yegor Ivanovich (1826 - 1869). Provence is not, but the words of the owners, it was purchased in the salon on October with an inscription on the label "Berestov?". Now they are waiting for the verdict of experts Tretyakov.
