Exhibition "Dialogue". All-Russia museum of decorative and folk art

February 17, 2009 to April 15, 2009 will be held a joint exhibition of the All-Russia museum of decorative and folk art and decorative arts of the Association of Artists of the Moscow Union of Artists.

For the first time at the traditional exhibition of Moscow artists, applied scientists, passing on the grounds of the Museum of arts and crafts, will be presented and the exhibits of the museum itself. That is what the organizers want to reach the main goal of the exhibition - see the internal communication - a dialogue - contemporary exhibits from folk tradition, with the reasons for allowing this tradition to live and develop.
 
This is one of the biggest exhibitions of arts and crafts of recent decades. "Dialogue" presents more than 500 works by 125 artists in Moscow. The exhibition - tapestry, paintings on cloth, the author's costume, ceramics, glass, lacquer miniature, jewelry. Works of national applied art from the museum used in the exhibition as a kind of "tuning forks", which formed around the expo theme areas.
 
Among the participants are recognized as masters, Honored Artist of Russia: President of AHDI Alexander Gorazdin, a corresponding member of Russia Academy of Arts Pobedova Olga, Irina Trofimova, Sergei Gavin, Emily Taratuta, Tatiana Shihireva, Larissa Rubtsov, Natalia Uryadova - and beginners: Olga Velikodnaya, Elena Sirotkina, Olga Mokhnacheva, Alexei Zinchuk.
 
Thematic format of the exhibition allows a certain retrospective, and does not set strict time frame. Along with the exhibits "bygone era" viewers will see works created this year by artists T. Volokh (batik, painting), A. Butinov (glass), L. Sokolova (majolica).
 
Once again, show the powerful sources of creativity underlying the folk tradition, to make sure their availability - a problem of this exhibition.
