Myl'nikov Andrei Andreyevich - Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist and muralist, teacher, People's Artist of USSR, academician of the USSR Academy of Arts, Professor.
Born February 22, 1919 in Pokrovsk (from 1931 - the city Engels) Saratov region. Russian. In 1938-1946 he studied in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the Grabar and VM Oreshnikova (diploma work - "The Oath of Baltic"). Since 1947, taught there (from 1967 - professor). In 1948 he graduated from the graduate school.
In 1966 he was elected full member (academician) of the USSR Academy of Arts (1991 - Russian Academy of Arts, Arts).
