For this auction I am offering an original watercolor on paper painting by a well known 20th c. Russian-American artist DAVID BURLIUK ( 1882-1967). This painting comes from a private art collection in Hewlett Harbor,Long Island,N.Y. and it is being offered unreserved. The painting depicts a happy Russian couple drinking tea, with an ornate Russian samovar standing on the table. The watercolor is signed in the lower right: BURLIUK. It is in good condition with only some minor tearing in the upper right, which is outside the overall image. The painting is offered unframed and measures 9 and a quarter X 13 and a half inches.
