So I do not understand why such a clear and understandable idea never occurred to the Moscow authorities! It works in all countries of the world and brings the city's coffers huge profits. Perhaps short-term interests of individual actors is much more important thing (from their point of view) than the public interest?
Tourism could provide not only in revenue for the city, but additional jobs through small business development. The benefit is obvious! And therefore all the more puzzling, why continue to destroy the historic Moscow, despite the absolute necessity of maintaining it!
