Gabriel Gyurjyan
Gabriel Gyurjyan (1982, Ardvin (now in Turkey) - 1987, Yerevan).
In 1920 he graduated from Penza Art College.
Since 1922 he lived in Yerevan, where he actively engaged in social activities, taught and wrote articles on art.
Participated in exhibitions since 1920.
People's Artist of Armenia since 1940.
Known primarily for its scenery, including industrial ( "Sevan. Zangstroy", 1936, "Morning in the old Goris, 1954).
In addition to the industrial landscapes, the artist created a whole series of paintings depicting the native nature of architectural monuments, expressing the beauty of their native country and human-builder. We call some of them: "Azat river gorge Harney," "Evening Ahpyurake", "Spring in Armenia", "picking cotton in the Ararat valley", "Sunset in Ayrivank", "Calm on Lake Sevan. . .
