- Criteria for success of the artist - is stable sales of his work and the growth in their prices over the past 5 years. Someone will be very expensive sold last year, but the transaction is a unit - it is nothing said.

The artist must be talented, and then to it have an interest. It only seems that the art market is a subjective - for the professionals have a clear understanding of whether a project is successful, there will be any dividends in the next 10 years. This is the level of professional intuition.

Frankly, I'm afraid to work with contemporary artists. The fact that the culture of contractual obligations in this market segment works as follows: in the initial period of the artist is interested in the promotion, then all grow wings and all are geniuses. And, accordingly, each becomes "the director himself. Legal culture in our country is extremely low, not all live under the treaties, but on concepts. And the artists are no exception. I have on one hand enough fingers to list of contemporary artists, with whom I am ready to work.
