To work, to build and do not whine! "- A phrase from a famous poster of Alexander Deineka 1933 gave its name to a large exhibition of his paintings, drawings, sculptures, marking the 110 anniversary of the artist, which opened in the Crimean Val.
The largest of the modernist socialist realists, energetic author of the journals "Give," "atheist at the bench" and the creator of a series of mosaics for "day of the Soviet Union" at the station Mayakovskaya, singer Stakhanovites and monumental athletic torsos, illustrator of children's books and a lover of sports, Alexander Deineka proved to be an ideal bridge between the art of past centuries and the future. If Malevich declared: "... for me, comrade aviators, swim in the abyss, I installed the semaphores of Suprematism", then Dejneka populate this Suprematist abyss very real characters. Worker from the cars, footballers, athletes, Komsomol and other fleeing heroes. They hover in the weightless space, created by the artist.
