Later work has a typical painting style, with interest to the effects of artificial lighting. He studied at the Art Academy in St. Petersburg (from 1896) of P. Kovalevsky. In 1904 received the title of the artist's painting "The Triumph of the Spirit" ( "Self-immolation splitters"). Participated in exhibitions of the Academy of Fine Arts (since 1902) and exhibitions of the New Partnership artists. Creativity of the artist was re-opened in 2000, when in St. Petersburg held a big retrospective exhibition Vakhrameeva.
