According to investigators, Schubert died on Wednesday night as a result of a quarrel, probably broke out due to a certain joint transactions. Apparently, Kigorno killed gallerist literally with their bare hands, smashing his head against the wall. Then he calmly dismembered body of a partner, and laid his remains in plastic bags and drowned them in the canal on the city outskirts.
Several years ago, Schubert was arrested on a high-profile case of a criminal organization, engaged in forgery and sale of paintings by famous Italian artists, in particular, Mario Sironi and Mario Skifano. But then he was acquitted.
