MS Saryan always felt a leaning to national origins. The artist first went to Armenia in the age of twenty, and unique landscapes and colors of life of the people of this country gave a powerful impetus to his creative quest.
In 1907, the MS Saryan participated in the landmark exhibition for the Symbolists "Blue Rose" cycle "Tales and Dreams". Both he and his companions were close to the fantastic imagery of fairy tales, which enable the free circulation of form and color.
