So-called "Big Book of Marquises", which is exhibited on auction, was published in Petrograd. This is the most rare and valuable of all the options of the book. The "Big Book" have been included illustrations of all created by the artist at that time, versions of the book: "especially candid" scenes that are intended for the German edition of ... and additional, specially prepared drawings.
