In response Avdeev said that at the request of the prime minister has already found a place in Moscow, where he could begin working gallery. He noted that the area of the former Lenin Museum is quite large - about a thousand square meters. "This idea is just a good 'fall' into the situation, because the public now has a huge interest in our national history and art portrait like nothing better, perhaps, transmits and features of our great historical figures, and popular," - said Minister of Culture .
Lenin Museum was established shortly after the death of the leader of the Bolsheviks in 1924. He subsequently located in the former building of the Moscow City Duma (Revolution Square, 2 /3). In 1993, after the shooting of the White House as an independent establishment of the museum was closed and its funds and the building became a branch of the State Historical Museum. The building was carried out first Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, since 2005 the museum is under construction.
