The buyer and the artist: Ritual purchase
Today met with the amazing and fascinating buyers
me very much supported and filled with positive energy (besides money).
We meet at the station in their car. Not my first sale, I hope, and not the last. In this raises the question-and how to be an artist to communicate with the buyer? whether the rules, ritual. I understand that everything depends on the amount of the transaction and all the same ..:
1. Does the artist provide a meeting place, workshop (and if no?), In the apartment (and it is convenient to all?), In the gallery (and who will pay for services gallery ?)...
2. To what amount of the transaction can meet in the subway (the subway, in the car)?
3. Should a meeting occur inevitably during the day? In order that the buyer had no doubt that the next morning the picture will get other colors in the daylight? And if the buyer comfortable night?
4. Should an artist and as a packed schedule on paper? canvas on a stretcher? Cardboard?
5. Since some amount of the transaction is to issue a certificate of authenticity to the picture?
6. What amounts should be a contract of sale specifying the rights and responsibilities?
7. Obligated to sign an artist all his work on the front side, on the back?
8. Is there a refund picture? Under what conditions?
Interestingly it is the view of buyers, as they would like to have occurred paintings by the artist? And as it is taken in reality ...
