"St. Petersburg" - a live show, always collects a vast amount of spectators. These days "Manege" is going to artists and actors, poets and musicians. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, graphics, photographs, decorative arts, installations.
Manezhny "Petersburg" - a kind of handbook of contemporary art, presenting works by famous artists and young people, traditional art - and newest trends. This is the largest exhibition brings together up to 500 participants.
Many gallery owners, art critics, collectors (both Russia and abroad) come to the "Petersburg" from year to year, to find "their" authors. Over the years the "Petersburg" is on this show did the ideas of different projects - from personal or group exhibitions in our city to large international projects with the participation of artists from other countries.
In addition to the main exhibition "Russia-2009" includes inserts exhibitions:
• "ANNIVERSARY" (mini solo exhibitions of famous artists).
• Group "TAJIKS-ART" - the first time in St. Petersburg. The exhibition will see copies of the works of famous western artists - Rothko, Pollock, Basquiat, Herring, Fontana, Twombly made migrant workers in Russia's best-known contemporary art fair "Art Moscow 2009".
• "WE" (We - of Petersburg. We - contemporaries. We - the Russians). Photographic project. Curators - A. Kitaev and Lebedev
• Photoproject "Reflection." Work of photographers, who at different times have created their own statements on time and memory. Curator - Vitaly Smirnov.
• Project LPF. New works by artists of one of the best porcelain factories in Russia.
• Glyuklya and Heron. "TNF. Installation, video (Small Hall "Manege")
