The guitar was found in a box from under the shoes in the house of a businessman, not far from Rome.
The search for the guitar began at the insistence of the wife of a friend of Picasso, Giuseppe Vittorio Parisi, who died this year. According to her, Pablo Picasso once painted a guitar for his daughter Paloma, and later gave it to Parisi. Even during his life, to Parisi asked one of the Italian businessmen, offering to transfer the work of Picasso in his possession and promised to put it in a glass box and put on public display.
The owner gave her a guitar businessman, but after that traces Picasso lost. After the death of his wife Wanda Parisi called the police with a request to find the missing masterpiece. Guitar were found in the house that same businessman who Parisi gave her for safekeeping.
The obtained guitar, painted in yellow, gray and black colors will be placed in the Museum of Contemporary Art, located in the Italian city of McCann.
